- Indicating Silica Gel Beads: Wisesorb cobalt chloride-free orange indicating beads (2–4mm in size) are designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%–50%. Once saturated with moisture, the beads will complete the color change to light green. Note that the initial color change does not indicate full saturation — the beads will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50% RH. We recommend periodically checking the silica gel beads to ensure their effectiveness.
- Transparent Window & Easy Reactivation: The transparent window lets you easily monitor the color of the silica gel. If it turns from orange to light green, the environmental relative humidity is above 50%. To reactivate, simply place the canister in an oven for 0.5 to 3 hours at 200°F to 250°F (do not exceed 250°F). Actual reactivation time may be shorter depending on the condition of the silica gel beads.
