• Premium Raw Material: Wisesorb Activated alumina utilize premium quality raw material with an extremely porous structure and high surface area-to-mass ratio, high strength against crushing and very stable physical and chemical characteristics, even in high temperature and corrosive environments. At 77℉/25℃, RH90%, it can absorb more than 30% of its weight in water vapor. Each bead is 3–5mm in size. Its excellent porosity creating tortuous paths and extended surface area can be used in both heated and pressure swing dryers.
• How to Regenerate: Activated alumina desiccant can be regenerated and reused to extend its service life. Regeneration can be performed using dry gas at reduced pressure or elevated temperature. The beads can also be reactivated in an oven at 200-250°C (392-482°F) for approximately 8 hours. Do not exceed 250°C (482°F).
• Ideal for Compressed Air & Gas Drying: Activated alumina has a wide variety of applications, especially for compressed air and gas drying with relatively high humidity. In compressed air and gas drying applications, activated alumina can achieve dew points -100°F/-73℃, depending on the dryer. It is suitable for deep drying under pressure greater than 5kg/cm2. Place activated alumina into watertight dryer or container and then place dryer or container into the compress air or gas system.
• Multipurpose Industrial Desiccant: Activated alumina is a chemical adsorbent suitable for many industrial fields. It has porosity, uniform particle size, and a smooth surface. As an adsorbent, activated alumina is mainly used in various fields, such as industrial gas drying, liquid drying, and water purification.
