5A Molecular Molecular Sieve-it is a type of compound calcium based aluminosilicate desiccant whose effective pore size is 0.5nm. It can absorb all types of molecular smaller than 0.5nm. 5A molecular molecular sieve desiccant has rapid absorption speed. At 25℃, RH20% condition, it is able to absorb water vapor at 18% of its own weight. Aside from the functionality of 3A and 4A molecular sieve. It can also adsorb C3 -- C4 n-alkanes, chloroethane, bromoethane, butanol, etc.

How to Reactivate:

The 5A molecular sieve can be placed in a muffle furnace and baked at 550°C (1020℉) for 2 hours, then transferred to a drying cylinder, and cooled to room temperature for use.
