- Silica Gel Beads Size: 1–3mm: Wisesorb 2lb White Silica Gel Beads are made from premium-quality silica gel with excellent thermal and chemical stability for reliable moisture absorption. At 77°F/25°C and 50% RH, the silica gel can absorb more than 22% of its weight in water vapor. Under high humidity conditions of 90% RH, it can absorb more than 34% of its weight, providing effective moisture control for enclosed spaces.
- Safe, Non-Toxic & Reliable: Made with high-quality pure white silica gel beads, Wisesorb desiccant is cobalt chloride-free, non-toxic, and chemically stable. Each bead measures approximately 1–3mm, providing consistent performance and safe moisture protection for sensitive items.
- High Moisture Absorption Capacity: When used in airtight containers, white silica gel can protect up to approximately 30 cubic feet of enclosed storage space per 40 grams of active desiccant. The beads can be placed in breathable containers such as tea bags, T-Sac filters, organza bags, muslin bags, mason jars, or fabric pouches to provide effective humidity control.
- Easy Reactivation for Repeated Use: Extend the service life of your silica gel beads by reactivating them in an oven at 200°F–250°F (do not exceed 250°F) for approximately 0.5–3 hours. Reactivation time may vary depending on moisture saturation levels. It is advisable to periodically check the silica gel beads during reactivation.
