  • Activated alumina utilize premium quality raw material with an extremely porous structure and high surface area-to-mass ratio, high strength against crushing and very stable physical and chemical characteristics, even in high temperature and corrosive environments. At 77℉/25℃, RH90%, it can absorb more than 30% of its weight in water vapor. Each bead is 3 – 5mm in size.
  • Activated alumina which has excellent porosity creating tortuous paths and extended surface area can be used in both heated and pressure swing dryers. It has stable physical and chemical characteristics, even in high temperature and corrosive environments.
  • Activated alumina has a wide variety of applications, including compressed air and gas drying. In compressed air and gas drying applications, activated alumina can achieve dew points -100°F/-73℃, depending on the dryer. It is suitable for deep drying under pressure greater than 5kg/cm2.
  • How to Use: Place activated alumina into watertight dryer or container and then place dryer or container into the compress air or gas system. Desiccant Activated Alumina ( Aluminum Oxide) Desiccant is perfect for drying air and most other gases with relatively high humidity.
  • How to Regenerate: 1. Use the dry gas under lower pressure or higher temperature to pass the activated alumina. 2. Use wet gas which is heated or decompressed to pass the activated alumina. The reusable activated alumina beads desiccant dehumidifier can be reactivated by placing into the oven for 8 hours at 200°C-250°C (do not over 250°C).

Used in my Bambu AMS. Super happy with the results. I have oven dried a batch, as well. It worked fine baking it at 400 for a few hours once it was wet.

Great for keeping 3d printing filament dry

Far better than silica desiccant. Need to pair it with a hygrometer, though, because there's no visual indication that they're spent.

Works awesome, will never go back to silica gel

Stuff works and was bone dry when opened. I suggest dropping a $1 temp/ humidity readout in the jar after you open it and use some so you can see instantly if usable or needs drying when you need it next time.
