Clean packaging and easy dispense into organza sachets

I use this to keep our dog kibble, cat kibble super clean, dry, and fresh for all our animals. I also use this for my DIY powder food and whatever else I can think of. The way you use this without a hygrometer is to use a kitchen gram scale and measure the weight of the beads + sachet before and after and replace it when you see a 20-30% increase in weight. Also microwave + toaster oven at 200 deg F for 15 minutes (low temp) will do amazing work on recharging the beads. Considering using a skillet next time. Got these for similar reasons as other users - no indicating color means its safe. Orange indicator is methyl violet which you can wikipedia and see that its really quite unsafe, although it is silica bound. This is really clean silica gel and a great product. Can see myself using this same 7.5lb jug for more than a year with reheating.

Non-toxic option for 3D printing filament than color-indicating dye (cobalt chloride/methyl violet)

Got this because it doesn't have any color-indicating dyes like cobalt chloride (dry blue to pink wet) or methyl violet (dry orange to green wet). While both are toxic, they're technically safe to use in the sealed packets, but in raw bead form, the constant grinding between beads causes them to create dust, essentially making a dust cloud of cobalt chloride or methyl violet everytime you use it. And in that case, it becomes a health hazard.PROSValueSecure containerNo health risks from cobalt chloride/methyl violet dust cloudsCONSNo color indication so you'll need a hygrometer to know the humidity level
