Indicating Silica Gel Beads: Wisesorb blue-to-pink indicating silica gel beads (2-4mm) are designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%. Once saturated, the beads complete the color change to pink. The initial color change does not indicate full saturation — the beads continue absorbing moisture until reaching 50%RH. Check the beads periodically to ensure their effectiveness.
Easy to Reactivate: When beads change from blue to pink, simply place them in an oven at 200°F-250°F (do not exceed 250°F) for 0.5-3 hours to reactivate. Actual reactivation time may be shorter depending on the condition of the beads. Check the color periodically for proper reactivation.
High Absorption Capacity: In an air-tight sealed container, each 40 grams of active indicating silica gel can protect up to 30 cubic feet of enclosed storage space. Suitable containers include T-Sac tea filters, tea bags, organza bags, muslin bags, mason jars, or women's hosiery.
