These rechargeable desiccant packs work. I used one in my bathroom sink cabinet that usually gets damp, and when I checked it again after a few days the silica gel beads had turned from orange to green. I microwaved it for a total of 6 minutes (3 minutes on each side) and the beads became orange again. I did notice a difference between the brand new packs and the recharged one: the orange beads are darker in the recharged one. I can��t explain why yet. I want to try using my food dehydrator to dry these instead of the microwave because I think that would be a lot more effective. I could tell that the microwave wasn��t the most efficient way to dry the packs because there would be a wet spot on the microwave platter where the pack had been lying. I haven��t yet thought of anything to raise the pack off the microwave platter to keep the underside dry.Assuming these can be infinitely reused, they��re a great deal. I��ve used those Damp Rid tubs before. They collect a good amount of moisture but they use up the pellets in the process. One small Damp Rid tub is $12.97 at Home Depot compared to these which are $15.99 for 3 reusable packs. The only downside for these packs is that they��re quite small and could not remove as much moisture at once as a Damp Rid tub.Lastly, this isn��t a big deal but I find the ��4 units�� terminology confusing. I noticed that 120 gram packs are ��4 units�� while 240 gram packs are ��8 units,�� so a unit must be 30 grams. This seems pointless to me and the product would make more sense if they labeled it with a standard measurement (like grams) instead of made-up unit. I was confused when I first opened the box because I got 3 packs that each said 4 units, so I wasn��t sure I got the right number of items.

Product came relatively quickly. It came in a nice box and each packet was individually vacuum sealed. I am using this to keep my ammo from going bad, as it removes moisture from my ammo boxes, keeping them dry. Doesn��t smell at all. I��m really glad they are reusable. When the beads turn green (they give you a see-through window to look at them on each pack) you can either put them in the microwave, oven or let dry out in the sun. Make sure you read the directions for how to dry them back out and reuse them!!Really easy to use and maintain and works well for my needs. Value for money is okay. It��s a little pricey, but it��s a one time purchase for me. I��d definitely buy them again. I attached some photos for reference!Enjoy!
